Actually, I’d misremembered the train scene a little, but now that I rewatched it, this isn’t even a headcanon, it’s essentially what happened.

My headcanon is that the only reason Master started calling Eun Gyeol and Eun Yoo on their cells instead of sticking with the payphone is that he’d tried literally every other method to get them to discover each other and they were both just too stupid to figure it out
